SEN Music Therapy
Music therapy has proven to be an effective teaching strategy with our SEN students. Utilising fundamental skills, they're able to gain an understanding and a love of popular instruments, such as piano and drums.
Rhythm workshops are a key ingredient in simplifying auditory information for students. Using both body percussion and drums, students can develop a love for rhythmic instruments.
Chord charts are a fun, easy way to teach students the basics of melody, rhythm, and harmony all at once. Students can accompany through chords, or take the lead with a melody line. Our most important goal for students is to spend that time having fun and learning while seated at the piano.
